Do you like to solve mysteries old and new? Are you interested in biology, forensics or DNA? Does Indigenous knowledge, culture and heritage interest you? Pursuing a degree in Archaeology at Simon Fraser University, will have you exploring the human past from Neanderthals to current issues of First Nations heritage and its management. 

Overview

You will delve into forensic science and learn about primates and changes in the human skeleton through biological anthropology. You will examine human/environmental interactions while working in labs, outside in the field, and traveling to local and/or international destinations, on the Archaeology program from Simon Fraser University.

  • All applicants must meet the university's English Language Requirements
    • All applicants must meet the university's Quantitative and Analytical Skills requirements
    • All students must present a minimum grade of C-/60% in a junior or senior level acceptable Math course
    • Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school
    • Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. (An admission average is calculated on final year results.)
