Geography considers the relationship between the physical and human environment in space and time.  On this course, you will study earth surface processes and landform development alongside society, culture, place and space.

About

You will analyse geographical phenomena through the study of key theories and concepts, and develop practical geographical skills and techniques through extensive field and laboratory work. An important element is the application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in providing solutions to human and physical geographical problems. Such information technology applications will strengthen both your subject-specific expertise and develop your employability skills.

You will have opportunities to participate in residential fieldwork in the UK and overseas ? currently in Germany, Malta and Spain.

SPECIFIC GCSE REQUIREMENTS

GCSE grade C or grade 4 in English Language, Science and Mathematics. Level 2 Functional Skills English also accepted.
