As well as a firm grounding in general chemistry, research methods and laboratory techniques, this course enables you to gain the necessary skills and knowledge in drug testing, drug efficacy, computer-based  drug design and the quality control of pharmaceuticals.

You will benefit from recently refurbished state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and analytical equipment and from learning in a research-active environment.

SPECIFIC GCSE REQUIREMENTS

GCSE grade C or grade 4 in English Language, Science and Mathematics. Level 2 Functional Skills English also accepted.

NON TARIFFED QUALIFICATIONS

Pass Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject (Science) with a minimum 106 UCAS tariff points.
