The Integrated Science program of Northwestern University emphasize the common base and relationships of the sciences and stress the importance of mathematics and the development of first principles. This foundation in turn leads to the study of advanced topics at the forefront of science.

After the ISP experience, our graduates have access to the best opportunities, including premier graduate programs in mathematics and the sciences, as well as the top medical and law schools. Many of our students have won prestigious national and international scholarships or fellowships such as the Churchill, Gates, Goldwater, and Fulbright to further their studies both here and abroad.

In over 30 years, ISP's success is evident in the career paths of our students at the highest levels of professional accomplishment. Of our more than 300 graduates, there are professionals in many walks of life, including: university faculty at Berkeley, MIT, Ohio State, Virginia, Northwestern, Colorado State, to name a few; lawyers, with a significant representation in patent law; doctors, over 40 of our graduates have medical degrees; business, this a diverse group including CEO’s and company presidents; in civil and social services we have teachers and mentors of students around the globe; and many other distinctive and important careers.
