Overview

You will be able to choose from modules on German literature, film, history, philosophy and memory studies covering topics from the sixteenth century to the present day. Our graduates go on to careers in international organisations or businesses, in translation or teaching, and as researchers or journalists.

This programme is also available for full-time evening study over four years, including a year of study abroad, and for part-time evening study over four years.

  • We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.
  • UCAS Tariff Points: 112-128 points
  • A-levels: ABB-BBC, including A-level/B2 (CEFR) in German.
  • This programme is also suitable for applicants at proficiency and native speaker level.
