The BEntre degree will provide you with a solid foundation of applied knowledge in management and entrepreneurship to improve those odds in your favour. You will study a range of key papers to develop your understanding of strategic thinking, introducing a product to market, accounting and finance, electronic commerce, supply chains, legal issues in business, keeping your customers satisfied, leading teams of people, and good communication.

Programme Structure

If you are interested in Entrepeneurship you will mainly study compulsory management papers for your programme in your first year of study before going on to specialised study.

  • Introduction to Management
This paper provides an appreciation of management essentials and the role of managers in a contemporary context.
  • The Entrepreneur
Entrepreneurs face many paradoxes in their endeavours and this paper will help you to examine the types, characteristics, skills and conditions that build successful entrepreneurs.
  • 200 Level and Beyond
200, 300 and 400 level papers examine legal issues in business and e-commerce, venture creation, entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, strategic management, human resource management, entrepreneurial electronic commerce, strategy for enterprise.

    The TOEFL – or Test OF English as a Foreign Language – offers a paper-based test (PBT). The final, overall PBT score ranges between 310 and 677, and is based on an average taken from the three test components (listening, structure, and reading).     The TOEFL – or Test Of English as a Foreign Language – offers an internet-based test (iBT). The final, overall iBT score ranges between 0 and 120, and includes a scaled average from the four components (reading, listening, speaking, and writing). Read more about TOEFL (iBT).

Academic Requirements

Grades of 3 or higher in each of at least 4 subjects in the Advanced Placement International Diploma (APID).When taken in countries other than the UK, applicants must gain at least a C grade in each of three GCE Advanced Level papers. A result in General Studies cannot be included among the three on which the application is based. Completed International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (24 points minimum).

You will be eligible to apply for this degree if you have University Entrance and meet any additional requirements for the qualification. All other applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
