Programme Structure

Year 1 - Learning at the HAS and at partner companies

  • The first year is divided into 4 terms during which you will follow different modules. Next to classes, you will also work at the HAS in small groups. Each week you will visit partner companies in the area.

Year 2 - Gaining in-depth knowledge and business experience

  • You will gain more in-depth knowledge. This will be done with the companies you like the most. 

Year 3 - Two-year plan, personal profile, internships and minor

  • You will have considerable space to put together your own study programme. 

Year 4 - Specialisation and professional assignment

  • You will work in a group of 2 or 3 students on a professional assignment. This is a real-life assignment from the professional field (company, government or another organisation).

Academic Requirements

The admission requirements for this 4-year Bachelor programme are a secondary diploma, equivalent to the Dutch HAVO diploma, with mathematics in your final year.

    Living Costs

The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.

Funding

  • Every EU student who enrolls in one of the English-taught Bachelor pays the same tuition fee as a Dutch student. 
  • Every non-EU student who enrolls in one of the English-taught Bachelor programmes of HAS University of Applied Sciences is awarded a grant of 1.000 euro. This grant has already been deducted from the tuition fee.
