This Civil Surveying Technology program at Oklahoma State University incorporates design, use and construction of public use facilities, such as highways, bridges, airports, dams, canals and drainage systems. The curriculum is designed to provide basic theoretical training with practical application. 


Curriculum is designed not only to incorporate National Uniform Fundamentals materials but to prepare and enable an individual to sit for the licensure examination

used by the Oklahoma State Board of Registration of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. This program is approved for complete online delivery.

OSU-OKC’s Surveying Technology program is a well-rounded, practical surveying education balancing theory and practical application. Graduates have a strong foundation, and the knowledge and skills to be productive surveyors when they enter the field.

The Science and Engineering Division provides the latest technology and instruction in the architecture, computer applications / programming & technologies, construction, engineering and science fields in the Oklahoma City area. The division strives to keep the latest technologies in the classroom and provide the best educational opportunity for all students. Many of the courses are transferable toward a Bachelor of Science degree at one of the state’s comprehensive universities.

Classes are offered during the day and the evening to suit the various schedules of our students. Many of the degree programs offered have multiple options, which provide choices for the students and allow them to meet their individual needs. Industry partnerships help the division stay current with industry trends and provide internships, field trips and employment opportunities.
