Practical immersion

At Les Roches we teach the theory and the practice of hospitality.

In your first, Practical Arts semester you will gain hands-on experience in all the key hospitality departments and roles.

You will experience the pace of working in service, the pressure of the kitchens, and the attention to detail needed in the rooms division.

Internships are a core component of your Les Roches education, with two professional postings integrated within the Global Hospitality Management Bachelor’s degree at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management Switzerland.

You’ll develop your resourcefulness and discover the secrets of the best, and most innovative, hospitality companies.

We will help you secure internships that match your ambitions and personality, and you’ll be fully supported throughout your internship experience.

The final semester specialization is your opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge of the professional discipline of your choice.

It’s a level of subject-matter focus that you won’t find in other schools, and it will give you an unfair advantage in the job market.

Les Roches is accredited at university level by the US Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Les Roches is recognized by the education department of the Canton of Valais.

We are independently ranked among the top three hospitality management schools in the world for an international career (TNS Survey 2013).
