This program prepares you for a mid-level management position in all types of health care organizations, including hospitals, ambulatory care centers, long term care facilities, and home health care agencies. You will have immediate access to Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences, Alabama's largest biomedical library. Lister Hill also provides services and resources for you with holdings related to medicine, nursing, optometry, dentistry, public health, health professions, and joint health sciences.You will also have access to The Sterne Library which houses more than one million items. Sterne also provides electronic access to the contents of more than 35,044 serials and 72,000 electronic books

Health Care Management has Five Degree Options:

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Academic Requirements

  • A completed UAB application
  • $30 application fee (nonrefundable, payable by credit or debit card) or application fee waiver
  • Your official high school transcript (which should be sent directly to UAB from your high school)
  • Your official ACT or SAT scores submitted directly from ACT or College Board.
  • Applicants may submit scores from either the redesigned SAT, the former SAT, or both. A writing score is not required.
