The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies enables you to take an active role in the design of your education. With a program that builds on professional experience, prior academic experience and career goals, you will achieve competency in five knowledge domains: leadership and teamwork; communication; knowledge; critical thinking and global awareness. 

In addition, your course selections and academic work will demonstrate critical engagement with core concepts in your area of interest, such as Indigenous education, at-risk youth mentoring, alternative health care models, community leadership, social justice, the environment or corporate social responsibility. You determine your focus; we help you build a program to achieve it.

            Academic Requirements

            You need the following GPA score:

            Required score: 3

            Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 3 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

            Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

            General Requirements

            • Diploma (or 60 credits) in arts and sciences fields of study, including a minimum of 24 second-year credits, with a minimum GPA of 'B' (3.00/4.33), from a recognized post-secondary institution.
