Operations management is the planning and execution of operations (or routine work) in the service and manufacturing worlds, including demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control, quality management and supply chain collaboration. Project management is the planning and execution of projects (non-routine work) in the service and business worlds, including the initiation, monitoring, controlling and closing of projects.

The BS in Operations and Project Management at Southern New Hampshire University is designed for students interested in the production of goods and services and the application of quantitative methods to solve business problems. The program also serves students interested in planning for and execution of a variety of projects in the service and manufacturing sectors.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

Funding

SNHU offers several types of grant and scholarship programs to full-time undergraduate day students. This year we're increasing our aid so that students with GPAs of 2.5 and higher could receive up to $20,000 in grants and scholarships. Most of our degree-seeking students receive some form of financial assistance.
