The classes will lead to certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant provided by Northern Arizona University Program in Speech Sciences and Technology (SST). 

The certification provided by NAU's program in SST meets or exceeds the professional guidelines for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants published by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

This certificate may be pursued and completed concurrently with a degree program or as a stand-alone certificate.  Under both circumstances, federal financial aid can be used for this certificate.
