Overview

Students acquire the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in the management, planning and marketing of corporate events, conventions and meetings, festivals and special events.  A compulsory internship is a key feature of this course and counts as four compulsory units of the degree. During this internship, students establish valuable industry experience, and develop their professional confidence and networks.  

The Business in Convention and Event Management course at Southern Cross University offers an optional international exchange program for second-year students to study overseas.
