Overview

The main aim of the Medicine degree from Karatay University is to train physicians who have sufficient knowledge, skills and behaviours, respect ethical values, researcher, questioner, self-confident, good communicator, respected and exemplary by the society, successful in their profession, forward-thinking and focused on scientific research, competent to provide quality health services.

The integrated system is carried out by similar topics being taught in a coordinated manner in different departments/fields on the basis of organ systems at different times within the same course board in order to provide a link between the course topics in I, II and III terms. Within this integrated system, "Problem-Based Learning" is also implemented as a part of medical adaptation programmes.

Career Opportunities

After 6 years of study at the university, you will become a general practitioner and will be allowed to prescribe medicines. If you want to specialize in a medical field, you can become a Specialist Doctor by taking TUS and then receiving specialty training. Thus, you can work in public and private hospitals, as well as work in your own clinic.
