Overview
The 3D Modelling and Animation for Games and Media course at Northumbria University is delivered through a combination of specialised classes, one to one tutorials and workshops, giving a large amount of support to students own creative ideas and projects.
The first year of the course is an intense look at a wide area of skills within concept and 3D development, giving the student a chance to experience many different roles as a 3D artist while gaining a more specific understanding or their own goals.
Learning outcomes
The second year of the course is focussed on expanding creative and technical knowledge within 3D development and using it in a professional industry environment. This is done by with students working with industry clients on a given project.
The course is delivered full-time over three days by industry specialist staff supported by a range of guest speakers. We maintain a high and wide level of industry software at the college and offer full student support throughout.
