International Business with Italian is a specialist programme at The University of Edinburgh designed to address internationalisation and globalisation of organisations, to reflect the dynamic climate of contemporary business and management.
International Business with Italian is a specialist programme within the MA Business programme portfolio and is designed to address the growing internationalisation and globalisation of business.
To reflect this, you are required, through the Year 3 exchange programme, to study abroad and experience at first hand different cultures and approaches and develop your understanding of the international environment. For students with good language skills, this will include foreign language study in Italy.To participate in our study abroad programme, you will need to achieve an average mark of at least 55 per cent in Year 1 to be eligible to study abroad in Year 3.

You will study Global Challenges for Business and The Business of Edinburgh which introduce key concepts of management and business including strategy, finance, marketing and the management of people.
You will study Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis, International Business courses, and a course in Italian.
You may choose one or more options from the following business courses: Organisational Behaviour; Business Economics; Principles of Finance; Applications of Finance and more.
You must spend Year 3 abroad at a partner university in Italy, completing and passing a full year's diet of examinable subjects in business (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority (75%) of which must be undertaken and examined in Italian.
You will choose a minimum of three courses in international business or strategy, or an international business oriented dissertation and one international business designated course.

Minimum required score (Grade C):
C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.
