Events have increasingly become important markers and influencers in our lives. Whether in sport, the arts, business or politics, not a day goes by without a major event taking place somewhere in the world.

Coming with some experience of events, whether through volunteering at a school prom or working directly in an events environment, this course will build a solid foundation for your continuing study. You will be taught by highly experienced events practitioners, all members of the UK Centre for Events Management, which is based here at the university.

The Events Management (Hons) from Leeds Beckett University is dedicated to getting you into the events industry, and our experienced lecturers will help you find your way. All modules on the course are contextualised into the events industry - everything you learn will have a practical application when you begin your career.

Career

You will graduate with the knowledge and confidence to work in any sector in the events industry. You could choose to set up your own events management business, and you will also have the transferable skills to make you highly employable in a vast number of different careers.

Many of our graduates find work with their placement company and quickly progress to senior management. You could also continue your studies at postgraduate level.
