We are seeking students who have demonstrated ability, potential and self-motivation, and have a genuine interest in learning about the tourism industry and the challenges of this fascinating sector.

The Tourism with Business (Honours) degree at the University of Westminster will develop your business management acumen and focus on key themes such as information and management systems, financial analysis, and marketing. You will also gain the transferable and cognitive skills necessary for lifelong personal and professional development.

The course focuses on the business of tourism – its role in post-industrial economies, the business inter-relationships between destinations, modes of travel, hotels and visitor attractions, and the crucial role of marketing and management in successful tourism enterprises.

Career Path 

All of the students, no matter which tourism course they take, come away with a good grounding in tourism from a theoretical and practical perspective. We take a policy-orientated approach, drawing on issues of strategy and planning, which means they are well-suited to work in planning and strategic roles in their future careers. Students on the Tourism with Business BA gain more grounding in accounting, finance and HR and are therefore better placed to work in the corporate world.

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. Delivered and marked by computer, it reports on a scale between 10 and 90.

  • International Baccalaureate – 27 points. We also welcome applications from students taking the IB Career related Programme
  • BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM to DDM
  • BTEC Diploma – D*D to D*D*
  • Access – 112 to 128 UCAS Tariff points from the Access course
