This programme will help you understand the relationship between integrated health and social care systems. You’ll develop critical and analytical problem-based learning skills as well as the transferable skills which reflect the demands made of today’s healthcare professionals.

This Professional Health Studies programme is designed to enhance the skills of health and social care professionals and those working in allied health services.

School

The School of Health & Life Sciences at University of the West of Scotland offers a variety of innovative courses with hands-on experience and work in virtual and real-life ward situations.

Our modern healthcare facilities across our Scottish campuses simulate clinical environments as well as home settings to teach caring for the elderly and people with dementia.
