We have a lot to offer students who wish to major in the Social Work (Online) program offered at Eastern Kentucky University such as:

- Social workers work with children, families, public policy, and in the community to advance social justice. Many work in hospice, hospitals, with juvenile justice, with the homeless, in prisons, child protection, domestic violence shelters, addictions, in crisis intervention, and group homes.

General requirements
- Submit an online application for the term (Fall or Spring) you would like to begin.
- Pay the required $35.00 USD application processing fee.
- Submit a copy of your passport information page proving a valid passport.
- Submit complete secondary school records reflecting a cumulative grade of 75% (2.5 GPA equivalent) or higher.
- Submit an official copy of High School Diploma or Graduation Certificate.
- In order to apply to the Social Work program, students need to have completed introductory courses in social work, psychology, sociology, and political science and go through a program admissions process.
- Students may take pre-social work courses prior to being admitted to the program.
