About (Hons) Midwifery (Applied) at Aegean Omiros College
- The (Hons) Midwifery (Applied) programme at the Aegean Omiros College covers all theoretical and applied aspects of midwifery and provides students with all the necessary knowledge and skills for their future careers.
- The course features 2800 hours of classroom education and 2000 hours of laboratory and clinical practice. Theory is taught by active midwives and SEMMA members as well as from scientists from different backgrounds (Obstetricians, Psychologists, Dietitians, etc.). Academic staff is chosen on the basis of their academic qualifications, research work and field experience.
Accreditation
The Midwifery course of Aegean College is accredited by the Association of Scientists Midwives (SEMMA) and is based on the 36/2005 European directive and to all applicable laws.

- Certified photocopy of High School Leaving Certificate (i.e.: Lyceum Certificate, High School Diploma, or equivalent).
- Certified photocopy of ID card or Passport.
- Six (6) Color Photos.
- English Language Certificate (if applicable to your programme of study).
- Certified photocopy of any relevant course certificates.
- Recommendation letter from Lyceum/High School Teacher (if applicable).
- Interview with the Head of the Program (if applicable).
