Combining the expertise of our Cornwall Business School with the ideas of the pioneering Eden Project, this degree offers a unique approach to tourism practice with sustainability at its core. On this course, you’ll explore the future of sustainable tourism management with a focus on understanding and managing the economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism. Through real-world projects, you’ll learn how to balance the needs of a business with the needs of sustainable practice; minimising the sector’s impact on delicate environmental and social ecosystems while also developing successful commercial and marketing strategies.
In this Sustainable Tourism Management (Hons) program at Falmouth University, you will:
- Have the chance to work on a live project at an international tourism destination, with your travel and accommodation expenses (up to a value of £400) funded as part of the course

- We consider all applications on their own individual merit and potential. We invite all applicants to an interview day or audition to give them the opportunity to demonstrate this along with what inspires and motivates them in their field.
- Applicants will also be able to show their portfolio or give a performance depending on the course. We welcome applications from all subject backgrounds, whether you’ve specialised in STEM, the arts or humanities.
- As a guide our typical offer at undergraduate level is 104 – 120 UCAS Tariff points, primarily from Level 3 qualifications such as but not limited to A-levels, T Levels, a BTEC/UAL Extended Diploma or a Foundation Diploma.
