Overview
Overview
The first two years cover general biologic principles, human anatomy and physiology, disease mechanisms, and advanced methods in biomedical research. In the third year, students can choose to enrol in one of the two curricula: biological bases of human diseases (Padua) or environmental influences on human health (Bologna). Biology of Human and Environmental Care is offered by the University of Padua.
Graduates can continue their education, even abroad, or enter the job market as biomedical/environmental Research Assistants able to apply standardised experimental methods, analyse data, present the results, and produce written reports.
