General requirements
In Norway, your eligibility for a bachelor’s degree is based on your educational background.
- International Baccalaureate Diploma
or
- 3 Advanced Placement Exams with at least grade 3
or
- General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) + General Certificate of Education (GCE) with at least 3 subjects at Advanced level (A-level)
or
- High School Diploma: Requirements vary by country with conditions set by the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills. Please consult the Higher Education Entry Qualifications (GSU list) to see the requirements for your country. For some countries, one year of college or university education is required in addition to a high school diploma or school leaving certificate.
