About

Its major advantage is that it provides its students with a comprehensive forestry education covering all areas of forest management (biological, technical and environmental) from nature protection, forest production to providing of recreational and other non-productive functions of forests with regard to sustainable forest management. 

Forestry students at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague gain knowledge needed for practical forestry. At the same time it has an international aspect thanks to which the graduates are easily employed outside the Czech Republic.

General Requirements

  • Secondary school leaving diploma (must be recognized in the Czech Republic)
  • Entrance exams consist of mathematics and English. Subjects include fundamentals of forestry botany, soils sciences, chemistry, dendrology and biometrics, forest protection, ecology and forestry economics.
