Its major advantage is that it provides its students with a comprehensive forestry education covering all areas of forest management (biological, technical and environmental) from nature protection, forest production to providing of recreational and other non-productive functions of forests with regard to sustainable forest management. 

Forestry students at Czech University of Life Sciences Prague gain knowledge needed for practical forestry. At the same time it has an international aspect thanks to which the graduates are easily employed outside the Czech Republic.

General Requirements

  • submitting electronic applications including all necessary data and paying study fees of 500 CZK
  • successful passing entrance examinations
  • successful completing secondary education concluded with a school-leaving examination the certificate of which (either the original or its verified copy) will be required from the candidates when enrolling in their study.

If secondary education has been completed abroad, it is necessary to submit a Decision of  Nostrification, i.e. the recognition of a secondary education level by the Czech authorities
