Overview
In the Business Management (Social Enterprise) (Honours) at University of Westminster you will learn both theory and practice, using real case studies to show how ‘impact versus income’ can be converted into ‘impact and income’, and how synergies between competing interests can be harnessed in ways that produce shared good.
Visiting lecturers with practical experience in social entrepreneurship and guest speakers working within the Third Sector will share their first-hand experience of areas like social finance, setting up, running and working in social enterprises and community interest companies.
Careers
For those wishing to set up a social enterprise, this degree will provide opportunities to develop and test your business idea, pitch it to relevant stakeholders and be able to deliver social change by the time you graduate.
The skills, knowledge, and practical experience you gain will prepare you to launch your own business effectively or use your business, management and enterprise skills to seek employment in the public, private or Third Sector.
