Start Nursing School Sooner
Located on the Northeastern University campus in Uptown, Charlotte, the Nursing (ABSN) program comprises online and hands-on components and offers three start dates a year — in January, May, and September — so you don’t have to wait long to start nursing school. Plus, every student who is admitted into our Charlotte ABSN program in NC automatically receives a $20,000 scholarship from our university to help pay for their nursing education.
As an accelerated nursing student, you’ll complete a rigorous blend of online and onsite curriculum over the course of four, full-time semesters. While not an easy academic path to take, it’s definitely one that prepares you to enter the profession a confident, practice-ready nurse.

- Lawful permanent residence in the United States.
- A BS or BA degree (or a minimum of 62 non-nursing college credits for enrollment consideration at our Charlotte campus) from an approved learning institution.
- If your degree is eligible, you must have your transcripts evaluated by World Education Services (WES).
- If your degree is from an institution outside of the United States where English is not the primary language, you must take the TOEFL and earn a score of 100.
