About the programme
Home to a distinguished tradition of philosophical research and teaching, our department provides a comprehensive academic atmosphere for pursuing advanced study in a wide range of philosophical subjects and methods—systematic, analytic, and historical.
Because the Philosophy program at Columbia University treats issues fundamental to both the sciences and the humanities, students are also welcome to combine their major with work in other fields.
