Overview
The program is designed to build the necessary scientific background to cover basic and advanced topics in the field of mechatronics engineering and the student must complete a total of 180 credit hours, the student passes in the first year about 35 credit hours. Then he begins to study basic engineering courses related to mechanical engineering in the design and energy branches, and Electrical engineering and its branches energy, electronics and control, in addition to the basics of science and computer, then courses for engineering mechatronics. The student is then allowed to choose specific elective courses in order to enhance and improve student interest in specific topic or topics
Program Learning Outcomes
After completing the Mechatronics program from Tanta University, the graduate is expected to be able to:
- Design, installation, development and maintenance of mechatronic systems in order to measure and control their performance
- The application of scientific knowledge in mathematics, science and engineering
- The ability to use modern engineering techniques, skills and means in mechatronic engineering applications
- The ability to design and prove experiments with analysis and interpretation of data
- The graduate's ability to interact and work within a multidisciplinary team
- The ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems
- A realization and understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
- The ability to communicate with his surroundings effectively
- To be able to understand the importance of broad culture and continuing education
