The Statistics and Quantitative Modeling major at Baruch College is designed to develop quantitative thinking skills that are invaluable in business.


The student will take courses from a variety of quantitative disciplines that focus extensively on statistical methodology, mathematical modeling, and computer implementation issues applied to business. 


  • The use of the computer for the solution and analysis of business problems is an integral part of the program. 
  • Graduates of this Statistics and Quantitative Modeling program from Baruch College will have a broad foundation in statistics or quantitative modeling and will be well positioned for the analysis and solution of decision problems facing business and industry in the 21st century.
