Our extended degree in business management starts with a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study. After this, you will study the same modules offered on our three-year course. You'll gain the practical skills you need to become an effective business leader. You will also learn about leadership and management skills, as well as business strategy, ethics and cross-cultural management.

Will I have a work placement?

Work placements are optional, and you are responsible for arranging your placement with support from the university.Previous students from the three-year course have secured a placement year at the NHS, Santander, Net-A-Porter, Intel and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Work placements are 9-12 months of full-time paid work. You take this between the second and third years of study.

Applicants will normally have the equivalent of 64 UCAS points, plus GCSE English (language or literature) and mathematics at grade C / 4 or above.

This might include:

A‐levels with grades DDE (or above) in relevant subjects
64 UCAS points, including points from at least two AS-levels in relevant subjects
Three/four AS‐levels with at least three C grades (or above) in relevant subjects
International Baccalaureate (Certificate or Diploma) with 20 points or more from at least three relevant subjects
