General requirements

- hold an AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent relevant AQF Level 7 degree at a grade point average 5.5 or better overall in the final two years of the undergraduate degree; or
- if applicants do not satisfy the normal entry requirements but have a demonstrated grade point average 6.5 in only the final year of a relevant AQF Level 7 degree; or
- if their application is based on other factors including alternative degrees/qualifications, plus recent registered nurse work experience that is relevant to the proposed research focus or involvement in research, they may be admitted at the discretion of the head of school; and
- overseas secondary qualifications or tertiary qualifications deemed equivalent to Australian qualifications;
- relevant professional experience demonstrated to be at sufficient skill level and duration of time that satisfies the University that the applicant possesses the capacity to succeed in their chosen course;
