Overview
This is a BSc Honours in Agriculture that will provide you with key skills in Animal Husbandry, Animal Science, Soil and Plant Science, as well as Environmental Science and Agriculture Business Management and Marketing.
The Agriculture (Hons) course at the Atlantic Technological University incorporates a substantial work placement in Year 2 where you can gain significant work experience, with Year 3 expanding and building on the knowledge you’ve learned to date. Meanwhile Year 4 allows you to focus on one or two disciplines: Animal and Crop Science or Environmental Management.
When you graduate you’ll have the core skills to work in the Agri-Food sector in a variety of roles including becoming a Farm Manager, R&D Scientist or Environmental Manager.
