General requirements
- Students from countries outside the UK are expected to have entry qualifications roughly equivalent to UK A Level for undergraduate study and British Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) for postgraduate study.
- 112 UCAS points from GCE A Levels or equivalent, including GCE A Level Chemistry at grade B. Typical offer – BCC-BBC.
- BTEC Extended Diploma/BTEC Diploma (Applied Science) – DMM/D*D* (must include Chemistry modules). BTECs in other subjects can be considered if they are studied in combination with A level Chemistry.
- International Baccalaureate - 26 points, including 5 in HL Chemistry
- Access to HE (Science) Diploma, to include 45 credits at Level 3, 30 of which must be at Merit (12-15 in Chemistry)
