Overview

UMCS offers an interdisciplinary BA studies in Business Analytics from Maria Curie-Sklodowska University at the Faculty of Economics. The course aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of business (eg Economics, Management, Marketing, Law, Finance, Accounting, e-business, Project Management), quantitative subjects (eg Calculus, Business Statistics, Econometrics) as well as analytical methods and tools (eg Data Mining, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Geographical Information Systems, Advanced Spreadsheets, Python Programming, Data Visualization, Data Base).

During their studies students will develop skills needed in the work of an analyst (eg Analytical Project, Soft Skills and Communication Training, Business Simulation).

Career

A graduate of Business Analytics may find employment in a variety of industries and business entities (eg enterprises, banks insurance companies, research centers, marketing agencies and consulting firms) in the following positions: Business Analyst, Database Analyst, Financial Analyst, Business Operations Analyst , Market Research Analyst.

Original/duplicate certificate of: secondary/higher secondary education together with the transcript of records (in the case of applying for bachelor studies) as well as a recognition certificate issued by a Board of Education in Lublin or any other board of education adequate for the place of residence of the person applying for the recognition certificate;
