Overview

As part of your Art, Architecture and Design with International Foundation Year (Hons) program from Leeds Beckett University you’ll:

• Develop intercultural awareness and self-confidence 

• Work on your communication, maths, research and study skills Increase skills in presentation, time management, problem-solving and planning

• Be introduced to various practice-based routes and take part in projects within each field to gain relevant skills and get a flavour of the different disciplines

• Explore subject-specific terminology and literature that you could use when preparing visual documents to accompany practical work

• Gain an understanding of British culture and universities, through a series of lectures and seminars

The majority of our students go on to study for an undergraduate degree. After successfully completing this course, you may be eligible for guaranteed entry onto a range of our courses. You will also develop the required skills to help you study at other Higher Education institutions. Your improved English language and academic skills will help to make integrating into British university life easier.
