Overview
At Building Environmental Systems from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology students will analysis, design, install and commission HVACR controls and equipment. Emphasis of the program will be placed on using the latest industry specific software to design building mechanical systems. Analyzing, commissioning and trouble shooting building automation control systems will also be focused on.

- Successful completion of the HVAC Specialist certificate or the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Technician certificate with a minimum GPA of 2.0
- Proof of English Language Proficiency
- OR Successful completion of 2nd period Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic apprenticeship
