By taking the Music (Music Composition) (Honours) program from the University of Adelaide you attend regular classes for advanced coursework.

- Successful completion of an Australian year 12 qualification with a minimum pass in an accepted English language subject
- International students applying to the Elder Conservatorium of Music are required to submit a folio of works, depending on the area of study for which they are applying. The folio will be assessed for musical achievement and potential for study at degree level. Folios must address the criteria specific to the applicant's instrument/area of study.
