Overview
Civil engineers design, build and maintain the spaces and places that shape our day-to-day existence. They are involved in the construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, railways, bridges, water supply and waste networks.
With Cardiff University 's Civil Engineering programme, you will choose from a range of authentic, real-world engineering problems and industry-focused scenarios, to work on both individually and with student engineers from other disciplines. Group work mirrors the relationships of an engineering team and will help you to build professional skills, such as teamwork and communication. Our open access makerspace provides a place for you to design, create and collaborate
The MEng degree programme allows you to expand and strengthen your knowledge in civil engineering, and you will benefit from advanced learning in design and management and a multidisciplinary engineering design project.
