Overview
This Education for Inclusive Environments major from Western Washington University provides coursework and practica that leads to a recommendation for a residency teaching certificate with both elementary and special education endorsements. Learning outcomes
Students seeking a bachelor’s degree with teacher certification and an endorsement in Special Education - P-12 through Teacher Education Outreach Programs located in Bremerton and Everett must complete the Elementary Education Professional Program - Outreach Program and the Education for Inclusive Environments requirements. Program coursework listed below is delivered through a cohort-based, integrated model that is jointly delivered by elementary and special education faculty. This program is specifically designed for outreach program sites. Courses must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or better.
