
Overview
Throughout this EQF level 6/NFQ level 8 honors program, students acquire business acumen to strategically appraise business opportunities and challenges and effectively integrate them into decision-making roles with an organization. The BA (Hons) in Business will create graduates capable of dealing with diverse intrinsic and extrinsic opportunities and challenges in the business world and do so in a creative fashion promoting business sustainability and growth.
Upon completion of this Business (Hons) program at EU Business School graduates will have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and attributes to enter the business world professionally and/or progress to a management role within a general or specific field or sub-field of business.

Due to the broad spectrum of subjects studied and the solid grounding students acquire in fundamental business concepts, ideas, practices and methodologies in this program, career opportunities for students are numerous. Students who successfully complete this degree may be interested in the following job positions:
- Project Manager
Project managers are generally responsible for coordinating staff and internal resources as well as managing project progress and adapting work as required. A project manager will be tasked with leading project planning sessions within a company. They need both technical know-how and first-hand knowledge of the tasks they assign to others to keep the project moving forward. Leadership and communication skills are required to be a successful project manager.
- Sales Manager
Sales managers are tasked with selling a company’s products or services. They work within the commercial department of an organization, reporting to an area manager or sales director, and are the organization’s point of contact with clients. Sales managers set targets for clients, develop new business, create and implement sales plans, coordinate with other departments to ensure timely product delivery, negotiate prices and create and implement sales actions for sell-out.
To succeed as a sales manager, candidates should have good negotiation, interpersonal, communication and numerical skills
- Employee Relations Manager
An employee relations manager is tasked with advising and training managers in any given business. They also develop further training as needed whilst representing the organization in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations. They are also responsible for designing, planning, and implementing a company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. It is critical that they maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees in order to promote employee satisfaction. Outstanding interpersonal skills and an exceptional level of written and verbal communication are required to be a successful employee relations manager.
- Business Development Manager
Business development managers will create and implement business plans to grow a company. They will look for opportunities in current markets by expanding to new sectors or will look for opportunities overseas. To succeed in international markets, knowledge of local culture, language, government regulations, competitors and markets are required. They will look to expand the current client portfolio and make new contacts. Competitor and market information must be collected and analyzed by professionals within this area.
Analytical, communication, research and numerical skills are needed for the position of business development manager.

In partnership with University of Derby and London Metropolitan University in the U.K., and Dublin Business School, Ireland, EU students earn state-recognized degrees. Through its alliance with Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain, students attain university bachelor's, master's and MBA degrees (título propio).
