Overview
The University Teknologi Mara has been producing a number of successful alumni working in the textile and apparel industry. Textile Science and Fashion Technology (Hons) alumni have also established themselves in various sectors such as the textile industry, retailing, fashion, garment, technologists, engineers, researchers as well as entrepreneurs.
Career opportunities
Graduates from this course will have the opportunity to be employed by local to multinational textile technology based companies for positions such as QC/QA Engineer, Production Engineer, R&D Chemist, Design Technologist, Textile Designer, Researcher & Material Scientist, Merchandiser / Retailer, Technologist, Apparel Designer and Garment Technologist.
They may alternatively initiate their own career as entrepreneurs and retailers with wider knowledge on textiles and apparel.

- CGPA 2.30 from Asasi UiTM, Asasi Sains UM, Matrikulasi KPM with Grade C (2.0) in three (3) of these subjects group: Chemistry/Engineering Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics/Engineering Physics/Biology.
