General requirements
You need at least a C (2.00 CGPA) in two (2) subjects at STPM/A-level or Jayyid in STAM or 2.00 CGPA in Matriculation/Foundation/Diploma (MQF Level 4) or a B in five (5) subjects in UEC or a score of 65%-70% in SAM or 80% aggregate score in CPU or other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia. You need also to pass an interview and a drawing test by MSU (except for History and Design programmes) and obtain Band 1 in MUET.
