Students who complete this Secondary Education - Earth and Space Science option at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and are professionally admitted, are eligible to be endorsed to teach any earth science course in grades 7 through 12.

Experiential learning and hands-on experiences are key components of degree programs in Secondary Education - Earth and Space Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The College offers undergraduate programs leading to a bachelor of science in education and human sciences degree in a number of degree programs.  Degree programs in teaching areas, when completed qualify a student to be considered by the Nebraska Department of Education for a teaching certificate.
