Event Management at University of Suffolk events degree is seen as a strong point of differentiation from other Event Management programmes. There is a high-level of competition in many event sectors due to an increasing number of events competing for similar public and B2B audiences.

A career in this challenging, yet dynamic profession demands that you are ‘career ready’ when you graduate. As experienced professionals, your tutors provide you with the right support to help you identify your goals and develop a fantastic CV. To bolster your development, our small classes sizes give you access to high levels of tutor attention throughout your degree.

Students are involved in the design, planning, organisation, marketing and delivery of the Suffolk Business School Annual Conference.  This high-profile Event Management at University of Suffolk  also offers networking opportunities and collaboration with our partnerships within local organisations.  Starting with a blank sheet of paper, the topic and scope of the conference is in the hands of you and your student colleagues, previous topics having included International Women’s Day, Suffolk Tourism, Staycation, and Business Sustainability.

Our course is designed to teach you the skills needed for events management jobs, such as Conference Organiser, Hotel Manager and Education Manager. The degree also provides the necessary skills for jobs in public relations and marketing.

We have solid relationships with around 100 employers, who provide a multitude of opportunities to build key industry contacts and build your reputation throughout your degree.
