Overview
Our Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology combines a scientific approach to understanding human behavior with a broad-based liberal arts curriculum. This program, available 100% online, allows you to choose your own third- and fourth-year electives from four concentrations: Child Advocacy; Clinical Psychology; Forensic Psychology; and Organizational Psychology. Students also have the flexibility to choose electives across concentrations.

What You'll Learn
In the Applied Psychology program at the Florida Institute of Technology, you will study how psychological principles can improve health, business management, product design and law. You will identify, understand and develop practical solutions to problems facing individuals and organizations. You will also review theoretical perspectives, historical trends, empirical findings and ethical behaviors in applied psychology.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology, you can explore managerial, leadership and other professional opportunities in a variety of fields, including social and behavioral sciences, business, marketing and sales. Potential career opportunities include counselor, applied behavioral science specialist and case manager. The BA in Applied Psychology also prepares students for graduate programs in various disciplines of psychology and sociology, business, legal studies and counseling.
