In your first year in the Business Management with Innovation and Technology with Placement Year programme of the University of Salford, you will start to develop an understanding of how organisations work, looking at key business concepts and the core skills you need for modern businesses. You will also look at wider business areas and how technology integrates with them. You will be learning by doing through working on exciting and innovative marketing challenges or real-world projects.

You will:

• Study the application of emerging business technologies and examine key business functions

• Apply digital tools to present digital innovation ideas

• Build your digital portfolio for employability

• Understand data and business intelligence and how it impacts on digital business

• Develop your skills working with fellow students on live client projects

• Gain real, hands-on experience on a work placement and live projects to develop the skills employers value
