Robots are revolutionising the way we manufacture, work, and live. Join the fast-paced industry and learn to solve everyday problems through technology with this bachelor's degree in robotics. Mobility, healthcare, agriculture, and more—supply chains across the globe are becoming more and more dependent on robotic technology.

Through a mix of theory and practical projects, you’ll acquire necessary skills to manage projects, lead innovative new technologies, and become a robotics specialist with excellent interpersonal skills. With this degree, you can enter a truly innovative field and excel into a successful career. With IU, you can study from the comfort of your home, 100% online.

After completing your bachelor's degree in robotics, you'll be an expert in your field and highly employable for all kinds of roles. You might enter the field of automation technology in aerospace or automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, or optimise systems and processes for logistics.

Robotics Engineer: As a specialist in robotics, you'll design machines and system components. You make precise calculations for components, develop robot applications and software solutions, and support innovative new processes. You're responsible for simulation and optimisation of robots, as well as the development and support of test applications for robotics.

Project Lead Robotics: With our degree, you’ll also gain the knowledge needed to skilfully manage projects in robotics. As a Project Manager or Project Lead in Robotics, you ensure smooth running of the projects andcoordinate teams and department to make sure goals are achieved. You will create schedules and communicate with customers, suppliers and partners—all with an expert foundation of knowledge to draw on.

Automation Engineer: As an automation engineer, you optimise control and regulation processes particularly in large plants or manufacturing facilities. You develop solutions to ensure all processes run safely, reliably, and at maximum efficiency—relying on automation technology. In addition, you are involved in product development through automated tests and carry out quality control.
