Overview
After completing the education you have become a skilled programmer who has good knowledge in game development and game production. Computer Game Programming leads to an engineering degree which has some implications on the entry requirements but also guarantees solid technical knowledge in your field of work. During the education you will also learn about the entrepreneurial way of thinking so that you can reach out with your ideas and products. Learning outcomes
The Computer Game Programming at Luleå University of Technology is an engineering education and consists of a number of game programming courses and projects. Among the competenses included are AI programming, physics programming for games, graphics programming, game engine architecture, game production and a number of game projects. For a modern 3D game you need skills from a number of areas and at Luleå University of Technology you are trained in several of them. The education is production-oriented, which means that we create production environments so that you are given the opportunity to work with other developers, graphics artists or others to learn industrial working methods.Programme Structure
